1910 Rube Waddell 1910 E93 Standard Caramel SGC 50 1/4 sawn oak frame

  

Framed in a quarter sawn white oak framed that was fumed with ammonia to give that rich color. This framw has a back bevel that gives the appearance of a floating frame. Quarter sawn white oak has "rays" in the wood that change from light to dark as you move around the frame. This is a truly beautiful frame done in traditional woodworking and finishing techniques. My passion are cards and woodworking, I created a custom sized frame made to showcase your favorite cards.

You will receive the frame with a custom background that you easily add your card to. I use domestic hardwoods on these modern craftsman styled frames with accents of exotic hardwoods.

The frames have as good of a side view as a front view. Every frame comes with a custom background that I'll work with you until we find the perfect background. The frames come finished and you just add your card.

Frames are made in either picture or landscape so the end grain and splines face out. Frames are available in straight sides or with an 11 degree back bevel that gives the impression of a floating frame.

All frames can be customized with different spline colors and different spacer colors for a small cost, message for details. I use glass that blocks out 99% of UV light that causes fading and limits reflection for a clear view of your cards. Keep the glass clean and you won't be able to tell the glass is even there.
